Living Deliberately

Because thinking shouldn't be something you do as a last resort.

Introduction

The purpose of this site is to encourage people like you to live deliberately by thinking critically about the big questions of life, and living in a way that reflects your conclusions. And what are these big questions of life? The same questions that thinking people have contemplated since the beginning of time. Questions about the nature of the world, ourselves, and any other one or thing that may exist. We want to not only urge our opinion that life is enriched by Living Deliberately, but we want to provide information to help you live deliberately. So please enjoy the information that we have curated for you here, and as you do, consider what some of the philosophical and theological giants of history have said about Living Deliberately.

Like Socrates, who is famous for arguing that, "the unexamined life is not worth living".

Plato's Apology (38a5–6)

Or the Apostle Paul, who admonished, "Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?"

2 Corinthians 13:5

And finally Jesus, who asks, "What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?"

Mark 8:36
